Our Mission
EarthDoc is a long-term project dedicated to documenting the complete history of Earth over its 4.6 billion year existence. We combine rigorous scientific research with accessible storytelling through film, blog posts, and podcasts to make Earth's incredible journey understandable to everyone.
Our Approach
We focus on the major geological eons that define Earth's history: from the violent Hadean when our planet first formed, through the Archean when life began, the Proterozoic when complex cells evolved, to the Phanerozoic with its explosion of complex life. Each story is grounded in the latest scientific understanding while remaining accessible to curious minds.
Our Vision
We envision a world where people understand and appreciate the incredible 4.6 billion year journey that brought us to this moment. By connecting the dots between ancient geology and modern life, we hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for our planet and our responsibility as its current stewards.
